Sneaker wedges seem to be appearing on the feet of many well-known celebrities. While they do make you taller, sneaker wedges in no way make you appear more fashionable. Please do not fall victim to this trend. You’ve been warned.

There is a pool on the third floor. FACT

This is totally true, even though everyone who hears this scoffs at students who are naïve enough to spread this rumor around. After some careful investigating; however, we were able to find WS’s very own pool area. If you don’t know where it is, then you just don’t know the right people. We’ll be happy to sell you a pass for $5!

Freshmen have to take gym all four years of high school. FALSE

The rumor mill is constantly abuzz in regards to PE. Poor freshmen are worried that FCPS will require them to take PE for their entire high school career. However, this rumor is just that—a rumor. At this point in time no rule has been made locking students in gym, so when they become upperclassmen they’ll be free. This doesn’t mean that future freshmen should be worry free—the policy is suggested pretty much every year, so four years of gym might be in their future.

Your peers love watching your public displays of affection. FALSE. VERY FALSE. ALWAYS AND FOREVER FALSE.

First love can be really new and exciting as a teen, and one might mistakenly believe that you need to declare it to the world. We promise you, you don’t. Please, please don’t. While you may believe that your peers want to see your disgustingly public displays of affection, we promise that we would be just fine going our whole lives without seeing just how much you love your shnookums. That’s all we have to say about that.
